Extending the default [email protected] with TimeZones

How about merging the TimeZone features from Calendar with public Holidays into the default Calendar
The ccprog version is a direct fork of the default calendar, but it adds optional timezones and public holidays. Especially the timezones feature is something that should not be missing from the default applet. As of right now, the ccprog version is a purely better default calendar, hidden behind a slightly misleading name.
Preparing the merge should not be technically difficult

Would the cinnamon team merge that?
