The Python ssl extension was not compiled. Missing the OpenSSL lib? Debian 11

Trying to install Python 3.11.5 in Debian 11 with pyenv but fails with:

ERROR: The Python ssl extension was not compiled. Missing the OpenSSL lib?

Openssl information:

Tryed:

export CONFIGURE_OPTS="--with-openssl=/usr/local/ssl --with-openssl-rpath=auto --with-ssl-default-suites=openssl"
pyenv update
pyenv install 3.11.5

Also tried other versions of Openssl, other desperate CONFIGURE_OPTS, building it from source by my own. Allays the same result.

The necessary bits to build these optional modules were not found:
_hashlib              _ssl                  _tkinter           
To find the necessary bits, look in setup.py in detect_modules() for the module's name.


Following modules built successfully but were removed because they could not be imported:
_crypt                                                         


Could not build the ssl module!
Python requires a OpenSSL 1.1.1 or newer
Custom linker flags may require --with-openssl-rpath=auto

Looks like #2693 (comment) but for libcrypt.so.

Mmm I'think its not the case, I have installed earlier Openssl 3.x with brew (where the link to llibcrypt.so.2 is pointing) and I think thats why it's there as a reference.
Tried

sudo apt remove openssl
sudo apt install openssl #v1.1.1

Same result.

Tried reinstalling Openssl with brew and checked /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew/Cellar/libxcrypt/4.4.36/lib/libcrypt.so.2, the file exists.

Tried removing removing openssl 3.x with brew, the isssue remains.

Pyenv does not currently look for dependencies in Linuxbrew.
Do you have any other libcrypt.so symlinks?
Or do you have compiler-affecting envvars pointing to Linuxbrew?
