I have read about the remote syncing in issue #8. This is a different issue.
So, to my setup first:
I have syncthing syncing my org folder (a bench of org files) between my laptop, a container running on proxmox, and my android phone.
I use my thinkpad mostly to edit files and todos, then use my phone to track progress and do light weight updates.
The issue comes after I update the files on my thinkpad, get that synced to my android (I can see the file got updated on the android file system immediately), however... here comes the issue... I have to delete that certain .org file from orgzly, re-import it from the local to android filesysem (i.e. the updated one), and then see the updates in orgzly.
The improvement feature would be to: link the imported file to the filesystem, and re-read it each time we open the imported Notebook/org-file... I hope this would be doable.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
An after thought that came to mind, didn't try to produce it, my guess is orgzly keeps its own copy of that file. So, in case I update a todo in orgzly, I would guess it also won't update the local folder to be synced to other hosts.
