Except the index page says Files must be in .nbe format. which isn't a nessus v2 file.

Right-- we need a parser that extracts { ip, vulnid, vulntype, cvss, port } from each entry in v2 files. The current parser only works with nbe files.

(On a side note: it's good to hear people are still interested in visualizing Nessus files. cc @jgoodall)

Is the file format documented on tenable site? Would be nice to link to it in case someone wants to take a stab at writing a parser.
