When I was in Detroit last I was surprised by the inconsistency of sidewalk coverage... Sidewalks ending mid-block..Busy highways with no sidewalks but with an obvious need for them.
I would like to see better sidewalk coverage so Detroit can be a safer place for pedestrians and cyclists!

Seconded! The OpenSidewalks group would be happy to help coordinate the effort - software tools, mapping suggestions that support accessibility, and (hopefully) a tasking strategy, since mapping stuff like intersections can be complex and non-obvious.
