500 error on dataset work page

Descriptive summary

The work page for one particular dataset item, 7w62fh122, is giving a 500 error for unknown reasons. I have tried different browsers, both logged in and not logged in. https://ir.library.oregonstate.edu/concern/datasets/7w62fh122

I can retrieve the SOLR record for the work. It appears in search results (Title: "Northern spotted owl reproductive rates"). Its filesets' pages will load (example). I can find it from the dashboard and get to the edit screen from there, but nothing stands out to me to explain why it won't load. I was able to save the record (without having made any changes) but it still did not load.

UPDATE Jan 14 2025: This issue is now affecting at least two dataset works - the one above as well as mw22vd469. See comment below.

Work has an empty fileset?

We're seeing this same behavior on another dataset, except this one is not yet approved (Changes Required) - mw22vd469. Since this is impacting multiple works and not a one-off, I'm upgrading the priority level.

Clara confirmed with the depositor that mw22vd469 should be deleted. Since I couldn't delete it directly through the UI, I tried deleting the filesets one by one (there were a lot!), and tried reloading the work page between each. Each fileset gave me a 500 error when I tried to delete through the UI, but then appeared to have been successfully removed in SOLR.

At this point the work page loaded! The .txt file from this fileset is attached in case there are any clues or for experimentation (it opened fine for me in TextEdit).

Once it loaded, I deleted the work (and remaining two filesets with it) through the UI.
The original dataset for the ticket, 7w62fh122, is still an issue.
