System hangs when trying to add editors to a collection

Bit of a problem here:

I did the following with this collection:

1. used the admin interface to switch the owner from clas0184 to me (anneb)
2. went to the edit interface and tried to add two additional editors
3. editors were found fine in the look up, but the system hung when I hit save (I didn't wait for an error, but did wait for a minute or two)
4. removed an editor - this seemed to work fine
5. had another go - still hung when I hit save - tried a few hours later, still got the same problem

Could you have another try? I can't reproduce this. I've tried:

• Switching ownership of an existing public list on talks-dev, then attempting to add editors.
• Creating a public list on talks-prod, then attempting to add new editors.

Still taking ages, but interestingly the last edit I did and then abandoned (adding another person to the editors list) seems to have worked.

Also to say that this particular list has a department added to it as well (would that make any difference)

OK, so I can be a bit more specific. I made a test collection, then added a few editors to it. All fine. I then assigned a department to that collection (actually the MSD). I've now added an additional editor and hit save and it is just hanging. However, I'm fairly sure the edit will have been saved - so am wondering whether it is struggling with the redirection back to the page for some reason?
