Quest Issue - Golem Creation

I don't know if you're aware, but golems can be created one of two ways in Minecraft. First method (the one you check for) is to place the iron or snow blocks, then place a carved pumpkin on top. The second method (the one you don't seem to check for) is to place the iron or snow blocks, place a pumpkin on top, then use shears to carve the pumpkin. Using this second method never triggers completion of the Basic Arcana quest.
