- Added a tag attribute to set an application name for each monitored file
- Defaults to a maximum message length of 99990 bytes for TCP or TCP/TLS connections. This is the maximum allowed by Papertrail

Release 0.15
- Remote_syslog2 now waits for a newline character before transmitting a log line
- Connection attempts and socket writes now have a 30 second timeout by default. Both values are configurable via
connect_timeout
&write_timeout
directives - A stack trace can be generated by sending a
USR1
signal to the process - Continues running if the first connection attempt fails
