Greetings,

We are contacting you from Forschungszentrum Jülich. Our software stage for 2024 is incompatible with your current release of Pulser. Unfortunately we cannot change our stage at this point, since it is already in production and several other software modules rely on the provided libraries in their current versions. We would like to ask you whether you could update Pulser to depend on a more recent version of pydantic than the one currently supported.

Current Pulser library is fully compatible with our systems with exception of one dependency, pasqal-cloud. pasqal-cloud requires pydantic<2.0, >=1.10. Would you please consider releasing a new Pulser version which is compatible with pydantic==2.6.1.

Please, do not hesitate to reach me out if more information is needed.

Kind regards!

Hi! Thank you for sharing this information with us. Indeed our pinned version of pydantic is outdated, we have plans for updating it soon. This should be fairly easy to do for this package so we'll make sure to prioritize this.

Greetings again,

Do you have a planned date for this release? Just to be aware close to such day since we are waiting for this update to have our module ready.

Thank you!
