Some results:
* Swapping does not cost any relevant speed, neither with nor without DMA.
* Quad word copy and double word copy have the same speed, as expeted on 32 bit hardware.
* Word/quad word access is 2/4 times as fast as byte access, as expected.
* Double word copy is as efficient as memcpy.
* Writing MEM to external is up to 16 times faster than reading external to MEM.
* MEM to MEM copy is 20 times faster than any non-DMA write, more than 500 times faster then non-DMA read and still 4 times faster than DMA.
* DMA is 4 to 5 times as fast as copy for writing but 160 times for reading.
* Access to USER is slightly slower than to SMEM
* VME access it slower than USER or SMEM access, only 2eSST320 is comparable.
* 2eSST160, 2eSST267 and 2eSST320 are 1.5 to 2 times slower than the theoretical limit.
* 2eVMEFast is only slightly faster than 2eVME and almost as fast as 2eSST160.
* Single cycle transfer VME DMA is still faster than copy.
