Hi PayPal team. In 2019, Apple announced the new XCFramework format that better packages binary Swift & ObjectiveC frameworks for distribution. Are there any plans on upgrading the vendored framework(s) to use the new .xcframework format?

This format is supported by CocoaPods as of the 1.9.0 beta.
