Mobile app does not recognize favorite places from created maps

First of all, thank you for this app; it is very useful. However, it seems that it only displays the favorite places from the default map called "Default." When I create a new map, the favorite places from that map do not appear in the app. I also cannot find anywhere how to switch from one map to another. Thank you in advance.
