I'm trying to split an ultrawide screen in arch, using fakexrandr. I managed to install and I believe configure it appropriately (xrandr reports two screens), but my window manager still acts as if it is one screen. I tried to run xfce4 but the dock is centered in the entire screen. Strangely the display settings do report two screens found, but it doesn't organize them as such.
Is there something I can do about this?

Does xfwm4 place other windows correctly onto one side of the screen, or does it also center them? That is, is the dock the only problem? What happens if you restart the dock in an active session?
