It looks like the animation saving is falling back on Pillow and failing. I think the easiest workaround is to have collab install imagemagick when using animations so that the rest of the code works as-is. A single line at the top !apt install imagemagick seems to do the trick. We'll go through and add that to the collab setup as well and then close the issue once that's done - I just wanted to give you the workaround in the meantime so you're not waiting.
