The difficulties here are numerous, but I could see the benefit. Of course, one would have to have issue #6 (View Parentage) implemented, but one would also need to have a fast way of generating the table cell layouts (either in JS or with some sort of layout language). But benefits here could be fantastic, especially if swipe-to-action and if drag-to-sort were added. It couldn't anticipate all needs, but it could eliminate quite a few typical problems (especially when scrolling large lists in-DOM).

Could also be handy for Issue #14.
