I want to use this Platform to clarify what's up with the domains at the moment.

After we migrated to the old domain (http://www.phpug-hamburg.de/) to the new website, the "new" (http://phpughh.de) doesn't work anymore.

Can we just have both? Or redirect one to the other?

What's your opinions?

"phpughh.de" should be the main page, since "phpughh" is used everywhere.
"phpug-hamburg.de" should redirect to the other if it increases the possibility to beeing found.

So i vote for "phpughh.de" as main page and if possible, keep the other domain with a redirect.

Thanks for asking +1

To clarify this a bit more the following domains are available:

  • phpug-hamburg.de
  • phpughh.de
  • phphh.de

In addition to this we made the following setup:

phpug-hamburg.de is configured as the main page for this repository. You can see that in the CNAME file from the main folder.
phpughh.de and phphh.de redirect with 301 to phpug-hamburg.de

Just because I like the phpughh.de domain most and same name was used for the logo my vote (if I'm eligible to vote) goes for phpughh.de as main domain, too.

So I've no idea who is eligible to vote.

First question that pops up for me is, do we need this decsion now? Or could we just discuss this at our next regular meetup in december?
