red button on incoming call results in beeping sound

On a incoming call my Bip offers me a green and a red button. When pressing the green button I think pretty much nothing happens. When I press the red button and end the call on my phone, there is a beeping sound for several times that can't be turned off, even with the phone set to silent mode.

Ubuntu Touch focal, Bip firmware 1.16.48, Amazfit build from master, so including this MR . But I have no idea if that is related. Just want to mention it in case its relevant that I am not using the release from OpenStore.
