Introduce month / multiple week widget style next to agenda list

Just like for example the calendar apps Etar or Business Calendar have a very nice monthly / multi-week view, it would be cool to have a widget for that. Business Calendar does it like that:

Events are directly visible, clicking on a day opens the calendar app on that day, clicking the header opens the calendar app for that month. It’s resizable and then shows more or less weeks according to height, usually one week per row of icons.

This is actually another widget with its own set of settings.
Both widgets may reuse a lot of common code, but they are mostly configured differently.

Anybody wants such a new widget and wants to invest his/her time developing it?
