Pending rewards not showing up

• What is the current behavior and expected behavior?

I'm accessing the app from https://polkadot.js.org/apps In staking -> payouts I don't see any pending rewards, however using other wallets like polkagate the pending rewards are shown (screenshots attached)

• What is the motivation for changing the behavior?

It is not possible to get rewards using the app's staking/payouts functionality, it is possible through chain state + extrinsics, but very cumbersome and more costly.
