I am trying to run the 'minerd.exe' utility on my system, but everytime I run the program with CMD, even with admin privileges, I get an Access is denied. error. (see screenshot)
I'm using a laptop with an Intel Core i5-5200U and 12 GBs of RAM, running Windows 10 Pro Build 19042.746.
A workaround that I found is to download the Linux binary, and run it under WSL, but I feel as though that WSL might be negatively affecting my performance, as it's not running natively on my system.
How can I get the Windows utility to run?
Any help would be appreciated. :)
