problem with numeric keypad on laptop #1429

I'm having a problem on my notebook where the numeric keypad part doesn't work well, I always have to press num lock before using it, even though I've already done it 1 second before, and in the cosmic terminal program it doesn't recognize this part of the keyboard .

Likely the same issue as pop-os/libcosmic#702.
