I noticed a new rusty video player in the works - hopefully a nice alternative to a tired old VLC.
Custom volume level on startup is something I noticed lacking in many Linux media players so if you would kindly consider it ty.

I'm curious about why you would want that, for me PipeWire (with WirePlumber) already remembers audio levels of applications, does it not work on your setup? Or do you explicitly want it to not remember the volume, but always reset to a specific amount? Or remember per file (and otherwise default to a specific amount)? I think you can achieve everything but the last one through WirePlumber configuration.
(I'm assuming the volume is directly bound to the PipeWire volume of the applicatio, it doesn't seem to compile anymore so I can't test it)
