Issue/Bug Description:
This one is kinda weird, and pretty funny in my opinion.

Upon closing my laptop for some time and re-opening it, I am unable to log in because some of the UI elements seem locked to my cursor movement. Moving the cursor without clicking just moves between the clock and the password prompt, but even if you twiddle the cursor with razor precision and manage to get it over the password box, clicking on it does nothing. Clicking on the UI menu in the top-right corner also does nothing.

A video of the behavior is here.

I did a quick survey of the open tickets, but to be honest I don't really know how to best describe this one so apologies if it is a duplicate.

Steps to reproduce (if you know):

Nothing past just closing and opening the laptop lid.

Expected behavior:

Normal lock screen UI behavior.

seems to me it's a hardware issue. please try if you can reproduce this behavior with a functioning mouse.

Hi @jkpjkpjkp, thanks for the response and for taking the time to look at it.

I'm not sure I follow how it could be a hardware issue. The cursor was tracking the movements on the trackpad perfectly. Additionally, the trackpad "button" wasn't being clicked in the demo that I linked. With that extra context, do you still suspect a hardware issue?

I will certainly try to reproduce it anyway and update the ticket if I find anything.
