Upon upgrading system76-driver from 20.04.17 to 20.04.19 the trackpad on this bonobo extreme (bonx8) laptop stopped working correctly. The cursor moves fine, but clicks are no longer recognized. Furthermore, the trackpad section of the Ubuntu settings app was no longer displayed. Downgrading to 20.04.17 (with the corresponding downgrade to system76-driver-nvidia) fixed the problem completely.

Neither bonx8 nor the only action the driver applies for that product (wifi_pm_disable) were modified between 20.04.17 and 20.04.19. More information about exactly which packages were upgraded/downgraded at the same time (/var/log/apt/history.log) and dmesg/journalctl from a boot when the touchpad wasn't working might provide more information.
If this is a problem with the NVIDIA driver in particular, this should be transferred to https://github.com/pop-os/nvidia-graphics-drivers. However, the last NVIDIA driver update was made on November 11th, which was before system76-driver version 20.04.17 (November 25th).
