Dear authors, thanks for present a wonderful jobs for lettuce and the github code is very clear in details. Here is my question, did your study use the genetic map to impute the genotype when perform GWAS or genome assembly ? where could I find one?

Thank you for the question. We didn't use a genetic map in this work. Please refer to the following papers for example,

  1. Quantitative trait loci associated with seed and seedling traits in Lactuca (doi: 10.1007/s00122-005-0066-4);
  2. A high-density, integrated genetic linkage map of lettuce (Lactuca spp.) (doi: 10.1007/s00122-007-0599-9);
  3. An Ultra-High-Density, Transcript-Based, Genetic Map of Lettuce (doi: 10.1534/g3.112.004929).
