Positron and Posit Cloud

What are the plans, if any, for making Positron available in Posit Cloud? My use case is teaching students with access to an Ipad but not a laptop. For them, RStudio on Posit Cloud works well. What should I recommend for such students once I move to using Positron?

Thank you for your interest in using Positron in an educational context! We discussed this a bit in #4125 and the situation is still about the same as then; we don't have concrete plans to add Positron to Posit Cloud in the short term. I think what I'd recommend for now is:

• don't feel any pressure to move away from RStudio on Posit Cloud
• look into academic pricing (i.e. free) for Workbench if you have a specific reason to need Positron over RStudio
