Repository Abandoned?

It seems that @prakhar1989 is no longer maintaining this repository. If people are agreeable to working off of my fork, I am happy to take over where he left off. Any pull requests that you submit will be merged in 48 hours or less from the date/time of submission.

@aubertc I appreciate your response, but you should note that I posted my concern about the abandoned repo a little over six years ago.

@awelch83 Thanks for your comment. I was about to open the same issue ("Is this repo. abandoned?") and thought that commenting on your issue was more useful than creating another one. I also thought that maybe you had not followed up recently because another fork or alternative option existed, hence my question -- it wasn't meant as a reproach, simply as a query for a possible update.
