VyOS is a Linux-based network operating system that provides software-based network routing, firewall, and VPN functionality. The VyOS project was started in late 2013 as a community fork of the GPL portions of Vyatta Core 6.6R1 with the goal of maintaining a free and open source network operating system in response to the decision to discontinue the community edition of Vyatta.

Some things coming to my mind:

• check Request issue/PR opener to disclose their connection to the software, why they are suggesting it and keep us up-to-date #1651 and answer questions there.
• tell more about VyOS and how it is a privacy tool and secure and how we won't regret listing it
  • remember citations so your research can be confirmed
• open a pull request
  *somehow get attention of team members who have interest in router firmware (I have no idea who, whom does git blame say to have worked on that file the most?)
  • router firmware is not my cup of tea
