Text doubles up like so: IllinIllinois

It's supposed to say Illinois when I press my keys. Now every shortcut I have doubles up like this. Please fix this. I use this daily and now it's worthless.

I'm not sure if this is the same issue, but I did just see something similar.

This is one of my shortcuts:
/COMMENT ➜ /*----- -----*/

What I typed was something like this:
/COMMEM ➜ [delete] ➜ NT

To my surprise, the shortcut triggered, but produced this:
/COMME/*----- -----*/
