In all our time we have never bricked any bricks, and we've tried very hard 😉 It's important to remove both the battery and the USB cable, since it isn't truly off otherwise, even if it looks that way. So in addition to the usual:

I was following the regular firmware installation procedure, it was going well until it suddenly had an error about the USB. I could not precisely remember what the error was, and I was not able to capture a screenshot of it. But afterwards, the Spike Prime Hub seems to be completely inoperative. No matter what combination of buttons I pressed, nothing lights up, neither the power button or the bluetooth button and it shows "No compatible devices found". The USB cable also does not appear on device manager
