Spike Prime Hub seems to be bricked after a failed firmware installation.

I was following the regular firmware installation procedure, it was going well until it suddenly had an error about the USB. I could not precisely remember what the error was, and I was not able to capture a screenshot of it. But afterwards, the Spike Prime Hub seems to be completely inoperative. No matter what combination of buttons I pressed, nothing lights up, neither the power button or the bluetooth button and it shows "No compatible devices found". The USB cable also does not appear on device manager

Here are the list of the things I've done

• Remove and reattach the battery
• Try to see if it is detected on the Spike Prime App
• Try a different battery
• Try a different USB cable

Is this Hub bricked?

In all our time we have never bricked any bricks, and we've tried very hard 😉

It's important to remove both the battery and the USB cable, since it isn't truly off otherwise, even if it looks that way.

So in addition to the usual:

• Remove USB.
• Remove battery.
• Press on button to make sure it is really off.
• Insert battery.
• Follow the standard procedure to start update mode. (Hold Bluetooth button while plugging in USB).
