Please provide extra information:

  • Version of Excel Used.
  • Attach a minimal Excel model (or a download link to the model) that reproduces the error.

I cannot reproduce it here on Windows Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2409 Build 16.0.18025.20030) 64-bit ,
Could you please post your model saved just before running the simulation?

I added the NPV and IRR as outputs, as explained in the tutorial, then press the Run button. Everything works as expected.
Not sure what the problem is on your side.

If you

  • start Excel
  • In empty workbook type =RiskNormal(100,20) on A1.
  • Add A1 as output calling it "Normal"
  • Press the Run button.

Do you still get the crash?

Did you follow the installation instructions? In particular step 3 (Trust center).

I don't know how to help. Can you update you Excel to a more recent version to see whether this helps?
