Questions: Add a 4th variable to the plot

Hi,

I'm trying to understand the code you created to apply it to my need to add an additional variable to the plot.

Currently the windrose is able to plot 3 dimensions: winddirection, windspeed intervals and frequency of the respective main directions. I would like to add another dimension, e.g. through the with of the bar or a specific patter on top of the color.

Unfortunately I having some troubles to follow your code and see which part actually does what.
Would appreciate some help.
