I can't track down the exact reason for the reset, but I see that the application becomes "clean" as if it had just been installed for the first time.
Key settings\Service settings\Translation\appearance settings...
In general, everything is reset to the factory state.

The qTranslate-X project is abandoned since 2016 so you won't get any update here. I welcome you to switch to qTranslate-XT. Please read our README carefully to proceed with the installation. It's safe and being used by many people.
