Code comments in english? #15
Comments
Sorry,I'm not the developer of quarkjs....just fork.. ------------------ 原始邮件 ------------------ 主题: [quarkjs] Code comments in english? (#15) Hello! QuarkJS looks like an interesting project, and I would like to use it for a project of my own. The bar to entry is raised a bit though by the fact that a lot of code comments are not in english. Are there plans to provide english language comments to a larger degree in the future? I would offer to help myself, but I can't read the language. (Is it Chinese)?

"Just fork"? How does that help? Forking != translation. |

Yeah, thanks :) I don't really need to bother the developer directly though. Personally I manage well enough anyway with a combination of google translate and the code base being of high enough quality that I can figure a lot of things out anyway. I'm just saying that providing english code comments would lower the barrier to entry for a lot of people, but any such effort should be backed the developer(s) anyway, perhaps by settings up an i18n for the publishing of code comments, so they can be kept in chinese if that's desired but published in multiple languages. |
