CDL Netlist Support for Qucs-s #1213

Simulations in qucs-s with ngspice or xyce only provide a .cir netlist which is not compatible with Klayout LVS check. In order to do so, a CDL netlist is needed. In a giuthub pull request, I saw that cdl netlist export support would be provided in the upcoming 25.1.0 release. When will the newest version be released? And will we need to make any additional adjustments to change the netlist from cir to cdl or will it be implementable from the gui after running a simulation? |

I am planning to prepare the release in February. You can build the application from Git or use continuous build binary package.
The CDL netlist export works independent from simulation. Even no valid simulator is required. It will be available from Simulation->Save CDL netlist menu. Internally it is implemented as another SPICE dialect. @ThomasZecha , please correct me if something is wrong. |

I have just added a comment on this issue. @ThomasZecha from IHP is responsible for development of CDL export feature in Qucs-S. Probably he will provide a solution. I am not sure at which level the issue with the MOSFET letter in CDL should be fixed. |
