Directions for Creating a Cover Letter

  1. Header:

    • Include your contact information at the top.
    • Add the date.
    • Include the employer's contact information.
  2. Salutation:

    • Address the letter to a specific person if possible (e.g., "Dear [Hiring Manager's Name]").
  3. Introduction:

    • State the position you are applying for and where you found the job posting.

  4. Body:
