HFS docker update latest version

Hey I am a long HFS/Windows User. Some time ago I switched to WSL to handle stuff. Now I am into docker and found your container.

My only problem is updating the container. I don't really know if I should just give the needed permission to the user or if this is on purpose. However the picture below shows the missing permission.

@damienzonly is taking care of the docker image.
I'm not sure it's designed to be updated "from within". But if it's not, then i should provide the possibility to disable that. @damienzonly do we need an env DISABLE_UPDATE ?

It would be nice to keep the update feature alive in the docker container. Very convenient

hi there! there are several ways to handle this. in the docker ecosystem (or containerized environments in general) it usually doesn't have much sense to think of updates (unless the software specifically supports it) because the deployment is handled by a third party piece of software (like composer or orchestrators). hfs at the moment is unaware if it runs inside a container. what it does is download a new binary, replace the old one and shutdown but for persisting the new executable on the next restart you would need to mount the directory containing the hfs executable. i would need some testing and a bit of brainstorming with @rejetto and decide if we want to support docker from within hfs or what

if this is not the way to do things with docker, then we should just disable updates, like in the way i said in my previous message
