thumbnail cache

about the thumbnail plugin,
last few verson is cache something in to storge file , then view the web , the thumbnails fast because the images not read the source Image second times, that what i means is faster than the now verson , now is read source Image again  when go in folders next time.....

it seem harm for hardisk , i think .

so hope to make an option to switch on the last version cache and limit the size or time ,that good fot the thousands images and videos view.....

The cache is still present, but it's in a new place. Now it is saved inside the "Alternate Data Stream" of the file itself. It's a feature of NTFS. The cache is hidden "inside" the file.

This is good because if you rename or delete the original file, the cache will be automatically following the file.

Ah~then I probably get that now，the point is what the difference between solid-drives and mechanical hard drives.
hfs on my laptop is solid-drives all the time , means old verson thumbnails plugin load so fast because it DB store in plugin`s storge , now steam and hidden in diffrent drives their file side.....

maybe lazyload can help if the number of images increased to more than one thousand or more ...... that must a big project ...

about "lazy loading", you are lucky: i've found it is something already supported by browsers, so it was quick to make.
You can get this new option by updating the plugin.
