I have been using this extension with the vscode-conventional-commits one and I have been running into this issue where the changelog generated will only contain commits marked as bug fixes or new features.
I mainly program in python (dunno if this matters) and I don't use the emoji config with commits, I believe this issue can be reproduced by simply installing both vscode extensions and creating on dummy commit for each of these categories.
