Is there a way to open Private Channels using this workflow, and if not do you have plans to support this in the future?

This is a great workflow BTW! I've been using it for a few days now and it's really improved productivity.

Hello @michaelfallik,
I've already added this functionality,
Make sure you have the last version 1.4 of the workflow.

Thank you for your message, It's nice to know other persons can enjoy this workflow too.

I must be doing something wrong then. I have the latest 1.4 version, and I think I added all are right permissions, but I can't see any of the private channels.

Attached a screenshot showing that I have the latest version + the permissions I provided.

Are you sure you have this permission?
groups:read

After adding the permission, make sure to reinstall the app into your workspace

OK, I tried the following:

  1. Made sure I had groups:read in my permissions.

  2. I also tried clicking the "Reinstall to Workspace" button under OAuth Tokens for Your Workspace

  3. Also tried typing "Install slack workflow dependencies" and "Update slack users and channels" after reinstalling

Private channels still aren't showing up. I'm using # to search for them.

Hello, checking up on this issue of not being able to search private channels using #. I've been using this app on a daily basis and it's the one feature that I'm really missing. I just did a complete re-install and followed all the instructions closely. I even added the app to each private channel that I want to search. My permission setting in the workspace is Administrator, but I'm not the owner.

Please let me know if there’s any other information I can provide so we can make it work!
