do you have any idea what may cause that error message, when activating fast position sending on any aircraft in the rendered aircraft list in the swift client?
Any idea or hint would be highly appreciated. No worries, if you have no idea here. Just close the ticket in the latter case. 😉
That's what I'm talking about:

Hmm, a quick guess is that it's sending swift-only fast position updates, which I know for a fact aren't supported by openfsd—and this is something that I'm now realizing I overlooked. I'm pretty sure a temporary fix would be to keep 'visual' updates enabled and disable 'fast' updates. This should still permit 5Hz position updates. I'll update the README too as I am indeed telling people to enable 'fast' updates. Sorry about that.
If you could replicate the problem while logging the connection with wireshark (if you're unfamiliar, this may help), you can email the .pcapng file to 'mail (at) reesenorr.is', and I'll take a look. This is definitely optional, as your IP addresses will be included in the logs. It's up to you.
Any case, I'll be sure to fix this in a future update.
