passport-custom plugin with useForm: false

I need an authentication plugin for an internal web project and managed to write a dummy function that works with useForm: true but with useForm: false I end up with error: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE from the /login/ page

I installed a fresh jswiki from the release zip, add the authentication plugin and activate allow Selfregistration with a newly created group.

How are you currently handling debugging in your development process? Any tips or tools you recommend?

@samfisch I managed to get past the debugging stage and make my login strategy work, but under the same condition as you did: if I disable useForm, it doesn't work and gets stuck in an infinite loading loop. If I enable useForm, it works as I would like.
