Org Structure Isn't Everything in Org Design
Whenever we want to initiate any kinda of org behavior changes, there are 3 modes of organizational controls you can manipulate to achieve the desired results.
Do what we are hired to do. This is implicit in most companies.
We are paid for the work that we do.
Influence of "This is the way we do things".
Org design is a skill that requires a lot of iteration to narrow down the change that works for our own context. It is not a good idea to just copy other companies' org structures assuming it will work for us.
