BSPMYIKZ-euc/6.7.263-7 | Some options are in another language. #3103
Comments
I think it should be impossible for any plugin to cause this, so I've asked on the Zotero developers forum how they think this can happen. I have no idea myself. |
See the post in Zotero again, I test to change Language to Spanish and Automatic. |
🤖 this is your friendly neighborhood build bot announcing test build 7.0.5.7729 ("async l10n load") This update may name other issues, but the build just dropped here is for you; it just means problems already fixed in other issues have been folded into the work we are doing here. Install in Zotero by downloading test build 7.0.5.7729, opening the Zotero "Tools" menu, selecting "Add-ons", open the gear menu in the top right, and select "Install Add-on From File...". |
Please install 7729 and see if that fixes the problem. |

What happened?
Today, when I opened Zotero, I noticed that some options were in another language. This issue was reported in the Zotero forum, and thanks to a suggestion, I discovered that enabling BBT (Better BibTeX) is the cause.
Steps to reproduce the problem:
A. Open Zotero with BBT enabled, or
B. Open Zotero with BBT disabled and then enable it.
If the plugin is disabled after the error appears, the issue still persists until Zotero is closed and restarted without the plugin enabled.
Here is the link to the Zotero forum where I posted some screenshots of the problem:
https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/120334/error-1102419704-some-options-are-in-another-language
The log without the problem:
No-ERROR console-export-2024-12-9_2-19-20.txt
The log with the problem:
ERROR console-export-2024-12-9_2-18-42.txt
I restar Zotero with the plugin disable and other try with the plugin enable for the logs.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
