Last tab is always focused when I restore session

I realize this is a nit pick, but I keep noticing that the wrong tab is in focus when I restore a session. Instead of being where I left off, the focus is always on the last / rightmost tab.

Is that just how Neovim works or can I do anything to fix it?

This is just how Neovim works. auto-session does not control how the session restores. Session restoring is a Neovim feature. See :h session-file
