While I not am not familiar with the internals of HA or for that matter the Volkswagen integration - as I understand the VW api is REST based and would only require an outgoing http request. And don't understand why that would require HA OTP credentials. Sorry if I misunderstand the concept, but I am trying to understand why this a problem? |

I had setup MFA on my HA. Lost data from the volkswagencarnet. After diggin into the problem, i found that it was the MFA configuration that caused the data loss.
What is the reason that MFA and Volkswagen carnet is not compatible?
