Support for ID.4 in USA?

Should this work for ID.4 vehicles in the USA (or other non-EMEA locations)? I'm not having much luck getting authentication to work with my myVW/car-net account, but upon looking it seems this may only work with weConnect? Any clarification would be much appreciated!

It unfortunately doesn't work with non-EMEA locations at the moment, because of the lack of access to a non-EMEA account from my side for testing.

Actually the backend for US cars is also completely different.

I believe also API. In the US WeConnect is called carnet and there is no dedicated App for the ID family. They use the same App like for the legacy cars.

want to use in China, where we have FAW & SAIC-VW both building MEB cars, id3,id4,id6.
I think it will be the same situation with USA guys.

can we try to replace the login/api server url and try to loggin? i do not think vw well set up different API schemas for different areas.
so can you help to give some debug/dev mode for this nice tool to help other area MEB owner to contribute?
