It looks like direct event field (event['field']) references are disabled in Logstash 5.2.2. Apparently event.get('@timestamp') is now preferred over event['@timestamp'] per errors in my logstash logs when I attempt to use this plugin. Would it be possible for this to be fixed?

Just updated plugin to new Event API
Could you please test it?
Run bin/logstash-plugin update logstash-input-sdee and restart logstash
