Hi rshum19
I am new in ros and crazyflie. I read about the issue you had discussed with whoenig.
But I still have no idea how to make the crazyflie take off using joystick as I'm using mocap_optitrack as well. I'm not sure where to config the joystick (but the teleop_xobx360.launch is successfully run and control the crazyflie using the xbox controller )and not sure whether the mocap was doing his job.
hope you can help me out
thanks

Hi gotozzj,

I'm a little confused about the issue you are having. Correct me if I'm wrong. You have managed to use a Xbox360 controller successful to control the crazyflie by using teleop_xbox360.launch? I was using a PS3 controller and to take off you need to press R3 and it will take off. You also need to make sure that the reference frame orientation of mocap_optitrack matches that of the ros_controller
